Google logo designs and brand consistency
Consistency of branding is considered to be incredibly important in design and marketing. People often seem to take this to mean that a logo must always be the same in all media.
Google s a great example of the difference between a logo and a brand. They regularly incorporate their logo into illustrations to tell a story relevant to specific dates or celebrations.
As their brand is so well known you barely need to read the name or recognise the logo to know that it is Google.
