If you want your customers to do something for you – Give them a reason
Your business has to have a Facebook page. The opportunity to connect with your customers and keep you top of their minds, is too great to pass up. But it’s time to start thinking from your customers point of view.
I love this quote:
“This morning my yoghurt told me to find it on Facebook. It didn’t tell me why, it just told me to find it. Why on Earth would I want to find a yoghurt on Facebook? It’s a yoghurt!”
The quote is from an excellent post about companies asking people to like them on Facebook, without giving any reason at all, let alone a good reason.
